Wooden Dummy Seminar – Sections 1–4

The first seminar in this series focuses on Sections 1–4 of the Wooden Dummy form. Students will work through the key movements and concepts that establish the foundation of Wooden Dummy training.

During the seminar participants will:

Study the correct structure and positioning required for Wooden Dummy practice.
Develop better footwork, angles, and body alignment.
Learn how the movements relate directly to practical Wing Chun applications.
Receive detailed instruction and demonstrations from Sifu Billy Davidson.
Improve timing, coordination, and power generation through guided practice.

This seminar is ideal for students who are beginning their Wooden Dummy journey or who wish to revisit and strengthen their understanding of the early sections of the form.

Building on the material covered in the first seminar, this advanced session explores Sections 5–7 of the Wooden Dummy form.

Explore strategic positioning and control through Wooden Dummy training.
Develop greater precision, efficiency, and understanding of Wing Chun principles.
Receive individual guidance and corrections to enhance performance.

This seminar is particularly beneficial for students who have already studied the initial sections and are looking to continue their progression through the complete Muk Yan Jong form.
